Its
a great time for the year for us gardeners your hanging baskets are in
full bloom, its time to relax with friends and family and to enjoy the
outdoors grilling and chilling in our patio or yard.
It is nice to see people
taking different themes to their plantings and this 4th of
July was no exception.
4TH OF JULY HANGING BASKETS
Creating hanging baskets with flowers red, white and blue is easy to do
and looks great on and around the 4th of July and of course
into summer as well.
If
you are considering a red white and blue flower theme for next year or
even if you want to plant up a hanging flower basket now, some great
plant choices include verbena, petunias, vinca and ivy geraniums.
All of these flowers work well in hanging baskets or in a hanging
planter and will reward you with flower after flower.

drought tolerant and bees and butterflies love it. On top of this

TIP
OF THE MONTH WATERING YOUR HANGING PLANTER
With the summer heat comes the need for diligent
watering of your hanging baskets and hanging planters daily if not
twice daily when it gets really hot and windy too.
We suggest watering your hanging basket plants
first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon when the
temperatures have dropped and the sun is off your basket or hanging
planter.
Watering is the key to good healthy plants that
produce lots of flowers making your hanging baskets bloom beautifully
all summer long.
